It is September already and I have started school and am up to my knees in homework, so far. I had to observe a teacher and I still have to work with a student on reading several times and make some more observations for another class. I am happy to be out of New York and moving right along in making myself a more marketable person as well as just learning. Something I do love. I have always wanted to just stay in school.
I have a car now. I have already had to have things fixed on it. Waiting on my student loans. Need the money and not just for myself but for my husband as well. A writer like him does not make a paycheck like I was. I often wish that he could. I hate having him to be helping me out with money. The one bane of our marriage, money. I do not like bringing up money and my lack of it right now around my husband.
On a more positive note, the weather here has been great. Warm days and cool nights. Perfect for my plants and for me sleeping. All of the plants that I dug up and brought with me are doing well. My roses have been blooming and have attracted a hummingbird. I was surprised to see one this far north this late in the season. Also, a chipmunk has been very much interested by all of my flower pots. I have taken to feeding her ( I think) some seed and nuts. She often fights with a little mouse that also comes along to the porch for the seeds. The chipmunk gets me laughing since it seems to live in the rhododendron at the end of the porch by making the branches shake every once and a while.
The bulk of my belongings have had to go into storage in my parents barn. Some things here, are still in boxes or in the basement. I am trying hard to keep out of my mother in laws way since this is her house that we have moved into. I hope soon, with the work of myself and my husband, to make an art studio in part of the attic for me and my many things. Maybe even a tv. There is no tv here and it is odd and bothersome at times. But not all the time. I like spending my days on the glassed in porch, listening to the various birds and small things that scurry under the bushes. A pair of crows come by every day to graze for bugs in the yard. Many woodpeckers and I have hope that some birds will find the bird seed feeder that I have put near my window here.
Getting the bats and mice out of the attic has been a chore but we hope that we have sealed up all the cracks and spaces around the chimney. I heard that a bat can get in a space as wide as three sticks of gum. That seems a little small for me, especially since I have seen the rather large size of the bats that fly around the house at dusk. We did not want to kill them. They are valuable, especially with all the mosquitoes here in the north.
I have purchased 10 books for my various education classes and I should go and read some now.
A friend just the other evening told me that I seemed so relaxed. I guess I am, except for school, pretty at ease here, finally to have a home with my husband. Well, share a home, but yes, a wonderfully nice change.

Thanks so much for your email. I am surprised that it is liked so well. I am sorry but I am not doing any commission work now for this year due to grad school and internships. I actually have not had time to even do much sketching. I am sorry that I am not available at this time but I have hopes that after I graduate in Dec. of 2012, that I will be able to return to making art. I hope that you might still be interested. If so, please do contact. I am sorry for the inability to do as you request.
Thank you very much for liking my work.

How to go to Heaven: "For God so loved the world (all of us), that he gave His only begotten Son (Jesus), that whosoever believeth in Him (Jesus) should not perish (go to Hell), but have everlasting life (go to Heaven)." John 3:16 Jesus saves!
